Summary
Amends the
Higher Education Support Act 2003
in relation to funding amounts for the Commonwealth Grant Scheme, Other Grants and Commonwealth Scholarships; maximum tertiary student contribution amounts for certain units of study; funding agreements; grant adjustment mechanisms; removal of certain restrictions on the proportion of domestic undergraduate fee-paying places; grants for the practical component of teacher education courses; and grants to support structural reform by universities; and
Australian Research Council Act 2001
to increase annual caps on funding and add funding years.
